Chicken Boy stood on South Broadway in Los Angeles, a beloved roadside figure that became a cultural landmark from the 1960s onward. More than a fried chicken joint, it represented the quirky, larger than life spirit of mid-century Los Angeles street culture. Some restaurants feed a neighborhood, but Chicken Boy fed its mythology.
Part of our Vintage Restaurant collection, celebrating the classic American menus of yesteryear.
