Overview
The LightSwitch (Dimmer) with LightCore (Dimmer) relay is a touch‑sensitive smart dimmer system designed to replace a standard European (55) single‑gang switch. It provides local touch slider dimming and on/off control, and can be controlled remotely and included in automation scenarios via Ajax hubs (Jeweller/Wings).

• Touch slider with soft LED backlight (multiple panel colour options).
• No neutral required — powered from phase only; installs into standard European (55) mounting boxes.
• Compatible with incandescent, halogen and dimmable LED lamps (8–150 VA). Very low loads may require a bypass (AJ‑BYPASS‑DIMMER) to prevent flicker.
• Integrates with Ajax hubs (Jeweller radio, Wings firmware) for two‑way control, automation scenarios and alarm‑triggered actions.
• Built‑in safety: fast‑blow fuse, software overcurrent trip and temperature protection.
• Operates locally as a normal touch switch even without a hub.

Installation & safety

• Install the LightCore dimmer relay into the wall box behind the switch plate — unit depth ≈25–29 mm. Ensure correct wiring to live phase and load.
• Ensure lamp compatibility before dimming; add AJ‑BYPASS‑DIMMER for very low‑power LED circuits where recommended.
• Follow local wiring regulations and have installation performed by a qualified electrician if unsure.
