New fabric, new price point, same generous size. These packs utilize TX95, a new offering from Challenge Sailcloth. The waterproof fabric is comprised of coated high-tenacity polyester triple ripstop bonded to PET film with 45 degree Ultra CrossPly (UHMWPE) fibers inside for increased tear resistance.  We've found that although it contains significantly less UHMWPE fiber than DCF or Dyneema Hybrid, the beefier poly face and biased Ultra fibers provide about the same abrasion and tear resistance as you'd expect from a fanny pack. As always, all of our seams are still taped for added durability and waterproofness.

With 2 liters of interior space, this pack can fit just about all you'd want to carry on a thru-hike or weekend trip. Phones, snacks, bladders, med kit; it all fits. The interior cash & ID pocket is carried over from our original pack, now utilizing the top of the fanny pack to keep it sealed.  We also added a quick access pocket on the exterior, perfect for keeping your phone snug against your waist, but ready to use at any time. The added volume doesn't add much weight either. These TX95 packs weigh in at 2.3 oz; 0.5 oz more than our original fanny pack and only 2 grams more than the Dyneema Hybrid version of this same pack. With 15 halftone gradients pulled from a modern palette, there's no way you won't find one to match your kit!

Note: The material costs are ~$4 less to make this pack from TX95 as compared to Dyneema Hybrid so we have decreased the price by that much. The labor costs are the same for each variant.
