Boots was named after his comically large feet, which he is forever tripping over.

Clumsiness aside, however, Boots has the most prized nose of all the Nana Huchy hounds.

In his younger & more vulnerable years he worked as a truffle dog in Italy, where he spent long days gallivanting through the tall Tuscan forests, sniffing out the rarest & tastiest truffles. Now he lives in Tasmania, where he works as a part-time truffle hunter.

Sometimes he will sneak some truffles from work to give to his pen pals, Buddy Dog & Buddy the Pup.
