The WOW “H” Girth™ has proved to be a brilliant innovation for saddle stability without having to over-tighten your horse's girth. Pressure dispersal applied across the sternum rather than the pectoral muscles promotes better movement in front and improved comfort for the horse. Used in conjunction with a Foregirth Attachment and/or a balance strap, a saddle can be held back in place on horses that would normally push their saddles forward up the neck.

The straps of the H Girth are made of very thin but broad leather straps as it is meant to be used primarily on horses with a forward girth groove, which the girth has a tendency to creep forward into. These soft, thin straps act like a second skin, rolling with the skin rather than acting against it to prevent tearing or breaking the delicate skin behind the horse's elbows.

This item is the leather version of the Soft H Strap for use with the H Girth only. The straps are sold individually so you can order two straps of differing lengths if required. It is more common to have a longer front strap in order to provide clearance of the buckle from the elbow; however, some people require a longer back strap in order to better fit very round horses. Leather straps may be combined with leather or vegan Sternum Plates.
